Mini neck lift is a surgery that improves sagging on the jawline by making an incision behind the ear only so that no scars show from the front.
The skin and muscle is lifted and sutured in place so that the jawline is lifted and more defined.

So it is easy to think that mini neck lift is part of face lift
but they are two completely different surgeries.
Why is SMAS Face Lift and
Neck lift different?
The SMAS layer is a thin fibrous layer between
the subcutaneous fat and muscle.
As one ages, the SMAS layer is also responsible for sagging skin and wrinkles, so it must be lifted as well.
However, as the SMAS layer comes done from the face to the neck, it changes to Platysma muscle. As there is no SMAS layer in the neck, neck lifts require a different surgery method.
Unlike SMAS, muscle (Platysma) has the characteristic of stretching and shrinking. So with face lift or thread lift
because they make a fixation in one direction, it is difficult to improve the jaw/neck line.

STEP 01
Make an incision about 1.5cm under the chin.
Tighten the front platysma muscles together,
and lift the neck wrinkles to the border of the jawline.
Through an incision behind the ear,
we separate the platysma muscle from the skin and fat.
