Generally, the SMAS layer of the face is connected to the neck muscles.
so facial wrinkles and sagging are often accompanied by neck sagging.
When only the face is operated on, it may look unnatural due to neck wrinkles.

Why is Face Lift and Neck Lift
Different?
The SMAS layer is a thin fibrous layer between
the subcutaneous fat and muscle.
As one ages, the SMAS layer is also responsible for sagging skin and wrinkles, so it must be lifted as well.
However, as the SMAS layer comes done from the face to the neck, it changes to Platysma muscle. As there is no SMAS layer in the neck, neck lifts require a different surgery method.
Unlike SMAS, muscle (Platysma) has the characteristic of stretching and shrinking. So with face lift or thread lift
because they make a fixation in one direction, it is difficult to improve the jaw/neck line.

Why is disconnecting
fiber tissues important

STEP 01
Make an incision of about 1.5cm along the bottom of the chin. The platysma muscles on both sides are pulled and sutured (platysmaplasty) Move the neck wrinkles to the border of the jaw line
