Inverted Nipple
An inverted nipple refers to when the nipple does not come out of the areola and is flat or facing inwards, becoming inverted. Surgical method for inverted nipple
In cases that are not severe
Make an incision 3mm below the nipple
lengthen the fiber pulling on the nipple
Use a purse string suture to prevent recurrence
In severe cases
Make an incision 5mm below the nipple
Sever the fiber that is pulling the nipple inwards
Gather the tissue to the center and suture to prevent recurrence

Nipple Reduction
In the case where the nipple is too large compared to the size of the breast or if the nipple is severely protruding, nipple reduction surgery is performed. If the nipple is too large or protrudes too much, it is not just a case where it is not aesthetically pleasing, but it can also lead to psychological problems and can make it difficult to breast feed. It is a good idea to correct the problem by balancing the shape of the nipples.
Surgical method for nipple reduction
Preservation of the milk ducts (breast feeding possible) : If the nipples are wide
Cut and remove a part of the upper nipple and suture to reduce the width
Before Surgery
Cut off as much of the portion of the skin needed, depending on how much you want to reduce the width of the nipple
Gather the tissue to the center and suture to prevent recurrence
Preservation of the milk ducts (breast feeding possible) : If the nipples are long
After the removal of skin, suture the nipple to reduce the length
Before Surgery
Cut and remove the skin in the lower part of the nipple
Suture and reduce the length of the nipple
Preservation of the milk ducts (breast feeding possible) : If the nipples are wide and long
If the nipple is wide and long, cut and remove a portion from the top and bottom
of the nipple. Suture and reduce the width and length of the nipple.
